Rock Band 2 is an upcoming music video game being developed by Harmonix Music Systems, as the sequel to Rock Band. The game will be released in North America on Xbox 360 in September 2008, with Wii, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 versions released later in the year. Rock Band 2 will feature improved drum and guitar controllers, while supporting older controllers, as well. New features include a “Drum Trainer” mode, a “Battle of the Bands” mode, and online capabilities for “World Tour” mode. The game will include 84 songs, all of which are master tracks. All downloadable songs, both existing and future, will be compatible with both Rock Band games.
